Ugh. Wrinkles. Honestly, is there anything worse? It’s bad enough that every birthday you celebrate tells you that you are one more year past your spring chicken days — but then you are forced to see it on your face in the form of fine lines and creases? So unfair.
And with all of the anti aging creams on drug store shelves, it’s tough to know which anti-wrinkle products will get the job done without being toxic or harming our skin even more.
But if you’re willing to step outside of the box a bit, there are a few wrinkle treatments that are all natural — and that also might be hiding in your own kitchen.
#1 Coconut Oil
Massage coconut oil into your skin before bed and watch those wrinkles start to disappear.
Bananas aren’t just good for your health, they’re great for your skin! Mash up the banana until it has a creamy texture, then leave on your face as a mask for 15-20 minutes. Voila!
#3 Olive Oil
Olive oil can be ingested to benefit skin — or even applied topically to help smooth out wrinkles.
#4 Egg Whites
Yes, using egg whites to treat wrinklesis a little on the gross side. But they will help tighten and tone your face — so they’re worth a shot.
#5 Lemon Juice
Good grief. What doesn’t lemon juice work on? Apply it to your face twice a day for 10 minutes to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Cucumbers are naturally hydrating. Puree half a cuke and mix with yogurt for a face mask that helps banish wrinkles.
A cabbage face mask will tighten your skin and help prevent wrinkles at the same time.
#8 Aloe Vera
You can use aloe vera as a gel, or even make it into face masks to combat stubborn lines and creases.
